Normally hosts only re-sim when the [[scorinate|scorination]] was done wrongly (for example using extra time in the qualifiers) however if a host is doing suspiciously well, he might ask his co-host to re-sim to get worse scores to avoid being called corrupt. That the only corruption is the re-sim makes it a paradoxon in a certain way.

One of the earliest and most notorious re-sims occured in [[World Cup]] 9, where a mistake in the scheduling of matches in Group 1 caused all of the results from the first matchday of this group to be repeated. This caused near-riots in [[Kaze Progressa]], as their 2-2 draw away to then-holders [[Liverpool England]] was expunged from the records (the re-sim was a 2-0 home win). Fortunately, the country's tough police stepped in, and indeed both teams qualified for that Cup.

A more recent re-sim was at the beginning of [[World Cup 25]], when the omission of [[Total n Utter Insanity]] from the entire World Cup competition, spotted after Matchday One, led to the complete restart of the tournament. This led to the expungement of a large number of shock results.
