The Higgleton League, like the Wendle City League, was a an amateur football league based in Winchestia before (and during the start) of the advent of professionalism in that country. Also like the Wendle City League, they had a clearly dominant team: Market Motors FC, a team that started as a group of retail employees that became semi-professional by hiring employees to only play football. Overall, the Higgleton League was much more colorful than it's capital city counterpart, there was the Marcheq incident, as well as a real sense of class rivalry between the aristocratic Northern teams (an area better known for it's cricket) and the middle-class Southern teams (of which Market Motors was one). Though North Higgleton was granted a franchise in the new professional league, all of the northern clubs from the Higgleton league are now out of exisitance.
