A summary of all the standardised military uniforms in the Friendly Alien military.

Battle Dress

Battle Dress is what is worn in actual combat and will be worn by all personnel who are on duty. It provides as much protection as possible, provides easier identification against other military personnel or civilians (as stated by the ??? convention on war) and camouflage the combatant against the combat environment.

Not all of the following are worn together. Those listed as optional may never be worn by a soldier out of choice, however those not listed as optional will have to be worn depending on the combat environment (hot or cold etc)

GIGA

• Under-wear.
  • Male Boxer Briefs.
  • Male Sleeveless Vest -Optional
  • Female Body-Suit
  • Socks

• Mid-wear.
  • M-MWT12 Combat M Trousers.
    • Made from a Cotton, Gothlar and Aramid fibre mix. This material makes for the perfect battlefield garment.
    • Duochrome camouflage (depending on the combat environment see 'Battlefield Colour Schemes').
    • Has fixtures to attach APART armour.
    • Attaches to the M-MWS14 with metal popper buttons.
  • M-MWS14 Combat M Shirt.
    • Made from same fibre mix as M-MWT12
    • Duochrome Camouflage.
    • This shirt extends all the way down the arms to the hands with finger holes and goes high around neck.
    • Attaches to the M-MWT12 with metal popper buttons.
    • Has fixtures to attach APART armour.

• APART Armour System
  • M-ABP2 APART Breast Plate
    • Protects the thorax and the abdomen
    • Attaches directly to the Mid-wear and is fastened to the M-ASP1 & M-ASHP2'.
    • Comes with numerous attachments spaces for grenades, ammunition and equipment.
  • M-ASP1 APART Spinal Plate
    • Protects for the cervical down to the lumber spinal area.
    • Attaches directly to Mid-wear and is fastened to the M-ABP2 & M-ASHP2.
  • M-ASHP2 APART Shoulder Plate
    • Protects the shoulders, underarms, and collar bones.
    • Attaches directly to Mid-wear and is fastened to the M-ASP1 & M-ABP2
    • Will have rank, name and call sign or wearer.
  • M-ACP1 APART Collar Plate
    • Protects neck and lower jaw area.
    • Attaches to Mid-wear and is fastened to M-ASHP2.
    • Speciality of City Divisions.

• Over-wear
  • M-T30 Combat Trousers.
    • Made from thick weatherproof material.
    • 'Boot skirts'.
    • Pockets.
    • Optional braces.
    • Duochrome Camouflage.
    • Used for cold and wet conditions
  • M-S40 Combat Jacket.
    • Made from thick weatherproof material.
    • 'Snow skirt'.
    • Pockets.
    • Attached hood.
    • Duochrome Camouflage.
    • Used for cold and wet conditions
  • M-R12 Combat Tunic
    • Made from a heavyweight Gothlar and Aramid fibre mix.
    • This sleeveless tunic covers the front and back of the wearer.
    • Allows for a comfortable base when lying prone in combat.
    • Provides a layer of light protection for equipment attached to the M-ABP2 APART Breast Plate
