The Yoka republic was a breakaway "independent" state created by the Arnabyazi Republic in 1928.Its capital was the city of Yagouhuduw .
Contents
History
It housed 45 000 people,the capital being populated by 1 200 people,acording to the 1946 census.
The state posesed only 4 mines and 1 industrial site, witch made it etremely poor.
Yoka's main army was established on 1th June 1929 from several paramilitairy government (Arnabyazi) sevices, having 4 000 soldiers-these served also as modern policemen and so Yoka was reliying on the military protection of Arnabyazi, the vassal of Desh.
Economy was relying on the course the Arnabyazi would state between its Riyal (AR) and Yoka's Dharm (YD) (normaly 500 YD for 1 AR).
Throughout its existence it was run by General Allos Mishewe ,instaled by Arnabyazi in a riged election of the national assembly of Yoka as "Supreme President".However his death in 1944 brought forward several oposing fractions, crawing for power, amongst them Commodore Muhmmad Ali ibn Taju , minister of war and Saif Ahmadi ,head of the national helthcare asociation.Eventualy, several breakaway states emerged, being: Koma republic , The Free state of Bowa and Assazultani Ajjud ,the first two being surpressed by the eventual winner, ibn Taju, and the third being defeated by a militairy expedition from Desh and Arnabyazi.
In Yoka 1957 refused a referendum proposed by the new, monarchical government of Arnabyazi and declared its continued independence on the grounds of the decisions of the democraticly elected national assembly. In 1960 however,it was atacked by Desh's forces. The conflict lasted between 4th March-1th April 1960 and was known as "The war of Yoka".Yoka's army, then having 6 500 soldiers fought heroicly, but were thretened to be defeated, especialy after the Battle of Yagouhuduw where Desh soldiers took the capital, but were expeled from it by the city partisans, with the aid of only 150 Yoka soldiers (the rest caught in the Battle of Yammiz and the Battle of Yizzid ). The state was going to be anihilated,if not for the asistance of the emirates of Summa and Quwaid ,witch provided 12 000 and 1 630 soldiers to their aid. This small boost, together with the local partisan groups, ranging somewhere between 4 000-5 500 ,managed to keep Desh's forces away from key strategical points until the arival of the forces of ODA peacekeeping armies. On 1th April 1960 a peace agreement was reached in Yagouhuduw, ending with a compensation of some 451 000 000 dollars from Desh.
During the entiere war Arnabyazi did not take sides and declared its neutrality, mainly to avoid being called a traitor by Yoka's people if it would directly militarily asist Desh.
After the war,Yoka remained independant until 1974 when it was anexed by the Islamic Emirate of Al-Suway .It regained independance after the states defeat by Desh's forces in 1978.The new state, however,is refered to as a completely new entity under the name of The Free Nation of Yoka .

After Mishewes death, several key leaders of his government emerged, tyring to sieze power.First,Commodore Muhmmad Ali ibn Taju has the upperhand, but was driven out of the capital by Saif Ahmadi for 4 monhts.Ahmadi was himself ousted by Ghulum Asrava, however the new "Supreme President" did not control any of the major seccesionist states (Koma republic , The Free state of Bowa , Assazultani Ajjud ,The Socialist State of Komyrekh and The Kingdom of Puswani) and was forced to resign not even a month later, handing power back to ibn Taju, ending the civil war.
