Minus the Bear was the first great pioneer to establish a settlement on these white plains. His name has since passed into legend.
Having endured an invasion in the recent past, The Arctic was officialy re-founded to prevent further incursions. Today it is an important part of The Polar Union.
"The Arctic" is a sister region to "Arctic".
The Arctic counts Arctic, and The Arctic Circle amongst her allies.
History
Departure of Minus the Bear The now mythic founding father of the region is said to have disappeared in the remote past. Although he had sown the seeds of a great region, his absence left it vulnerable, and the nations of The Arctic were left to fend for themselves.
The Guild War The Guild War was the organised invasion of The Arctic by the Freelancers Guild. The tide of battle turned when the Pacific Defenders came to the aid of the Arctic natives and forced the raiders out.
Alliance with Arctic Although it failed to achieve its original goal of unification, friendly contact with the neighboring region "Arctic" resulted in alliance, and the broad cooperation which continues today.
