The JRVian Broadcasting Corporation (JBC) is the single largest entertainment, news and information broadcaster in the Republic. Originally established as a state-owned enterprise in the early days of television and radio, it was privatized in the 1970’s when Finance Minister Simon Norman got drunk and sold it for a record $1.00.
