The Royal Maanenland Broadcasting Corporation is the state owned media company in Maanenland . It was founded by Royal Charter to provide independant and impartial information to Maanenland.
When it was first founded the corporation was the only nationwide television and radio network and enjoyed a monopoly over telecommunications in the nation. Although independant news and radio outlets have multiplied over the years the corporation remains the largest media outlet.
Although state-owned it is not run directly by the government and any attempt at interference is met with very heavy resistance by the public and corporation alike.
It currently operates the primary international news resource of Maanenland and is the most trusted outlet from outside nations.
