His Majesty King Axel-Ludwig II plays a very important role in the Krythmontian government in that he is both the Head of Government as well as the Head of State. His Majesty appoints his Prime Minister (most always the leader of the largest party in the House of Commons) along with the Privy council. His Majesty may propose laws but must have the approval of the Parliament to pass and enfoce them. However, all Acts of Parliament must be signed and approved by the King.
