Upper Volta is a nation with a strong Social Liberal bent.
Suffering from poorly developed infrastructure and educational systems, Upper Volta is a minor player in economics and to a lesser extent in politics in Africa.
The general attitude in international politics is that diplomacy is preferable to force and thus is a staunch supporter of the African Union.
Upper Volta enjoys very good relations with:
- United Faiths
- Phazania
- Utopia
Hardly any nation considers Upper Volta worth the effort of being enemies with.
