History

Captured during The Latao Invasion, the Western Territories is land that used to be known as east Latao. Since its approval as Nedalian land in 6 A.N., it has also been a source of rebellion from many factions. Followers of former Latin leaders can be found in abundance, as well as other radical factions, and they are all fighting with and against each other. The Nedalian forces have stabilized the entire area except for the western and northern strips, which are a hotbed for rebellion battles. Not much is known about the history of the Western Territories before Nedalia other than the fact that it used to be Latin territory.

The Tramonte Project

After the Latin invasion ended and Nedalia officially claimed the land, it was to time to rebuild. That, however, is a job easier said than done; the region has been devestated, and many of its finest cities are now dead ghost-towns. One such city, an unknown former Latin settlement which was estimated to house around 2 million people, sits on the eastern bank of the Wataniyah Lake, and has been chosen to become the new capital of the first ever Nedalian state within the country. The former Latin city is now just a desolate waste, so the Nedalian government plans on reducing the entire city to the ground and starting all over again. With Nedalian estimates putting future population of Tramonte, the name of the new capital, at 9 million, the Tramonte Project is incredibly grandscale, withe everything going to built from the ground up.
