The Sublime Porte is the open Royal Court of the King of the United Kingdom of Egypt and Sudan, lead by the High Steward of the Yawran. It got its name after the great gates of Abdin Palace in Cairo, the official residence of Monarch.

The term is used to collectively refer to the Royal Household, the Council of State, the Officers of State, the Royal advisors, and the chief dignitaries of the court.
