The Asgarnian Army was established in 1802, when the Holy Emperor declared Asgarnieu needed a force capable of defending the nation. They were at first, an uncoordinated group of random civilians armed with a 100-year old musket or blunderbuss. Now, the Asgarnian Army is one of the most powerful armies in the known world.
