Overview
This branch of the military controls Skgorria's nuclear arsenal which consists of both ICBMs and air-launched cruise missiles. It is its own authority, subject to neither SS nor Army nor Air Force control. The Strategic Rocket Forces do maintain a small force of field troops, though they only serve as guards for the silos and launch sites and never on the front lines. At present, the Strategic Rocket Forces have over 20,000 ICBMs of the following types:
SS-18 "Satan"
SS-25 "Topol"
SS-27 "Topol M"

Origins
The SSRF was founded shortly after the founding of the Skgorrian state following the War of Seperation. As the USSR had not used Skgorria or any part of Brzno as a base for launching or storing its nuclear arsenal, The first weapons possesed by the SSRF were Scud-class missiles purchased from a rogue state in the Middle East, and were only capable of striking Atopian cities.
Organisation
The Skgorrian Strategic Rocket Forces are organised into rocket armies comprised of three to five divisions, which contain regiments of ten missile launchers each. Each missile regiment has 400 soldiers in security, transportation, and maintenance units above ground. Officers man launch stations and command posts underground.
A system to ensure nuclear security is based on a three-level system of protection of the launch installations. The installations are directly guarded by officers and warrant officers. The second line of protection is covered by armoured hardware and structures. The third outer line is formed by minefields and security posts.
At the wing level there is a section called the 6th Directorate, consisting of three or four officers, and their sole function is to make sure they know where every nuclear weapon in that wing is. At the Rocket Army level there is a similar kind of organization. And at the Headquarters, Strategic Rocket Forces, there is a 6th Directorate that coordinates with the Ministry of Defense 12th Directorate, whose sole function is this accountability issue. This is yet another example of Skgorria directly employing Soviet military doctrine, despite repeated attacks at Soviet political doctrine.
