Romera is a small republic in [[South America]] founded by settlers from [[Sothfar]] in the 2110s. During its existence, it has been invaded and occupied at least by [[Germanistan]] and [[Metropolis]]. Each occupation led to the creation of countless resistance groups attempting to fight of the occupants with more or less effective methods. Germanistan's occupation was removed when the Germanistan army  and the allied [[Cormer|Cormerran Army]] were almost completely annihilated by [[Xeno]]. The Metropolitan occupation lasted longer and was most propably ended by the destruction of Metropolis through the SAGAs, although this remained unclear, since the fate of the Metropolitan troops outside the city at that time was never specified. It could aswell be, that Romera is the last stronghold of Metropolitan forces after loosing control over their homeland.
