| − | John, early in the wiki, we had a couple of users who wanted to turn NSwiki into a comprehensive storehouse of information about weapons that are used in the game, or a great place to duplicate their Storefronts. We (the sysops and the users in question) had long discussions about that in IRC (and probably here as well, but I don't remember where), and came to the conclusion that we didn't really want all that info jamming the categories, nor did we want an elaborate set of weaponry subcategories.

| − | I'm bringing this up because you've started loading a bunch of individual weapons systems. If this is stuff that duplicates information already in your storefront, we don't want it here (a link is better). If you look at some of the other Hardware entries ([[Fist of Alpha]] for example), you'll see that there is frequently information that ties it to roleplay events and is actually encyclopedic. Your entries aren't encyclopedic, they are a sale catalog. Nothing wrong with that, it's just not what we're doing on THIS site.

I understand that you are simply trying to enforce the wiki's guidelines, but the only part of the naming conventions that users really pay attention to is the "short title" thing. there are many pages that don't exactly match the NS page for technical of RP reasons. After all, the reason for this was so that Template: Infobox Nation would work everywhere, but many article do not use that template, and have a custom infobox, which is usually just a table code on the page. --swilatia 01:33, 11 February 2007 (GMT)
My main point is that it is confusing and in fact in the Eurasian article there was no link to the NS page of the nation that it was describing. It also brings up the issue that more than 1 nation may RP the continent of "Eurasia" or the nation of "Singapore" or "Zaire" for example. John 01:54, 11 February 2007 (GMT)
