4 Privates with Primary Arms
1 Private, Sniper
1 Private, Close Arms Support
1 Private, Anti-Tank
1 Private, Close Quarters Support
1 Corporal, Primary Arms
1 Sergeant, Command Radio Equipment

Nagian Squads are typically led by a Sergeant.
A Platoon consists of 10 squads (100 men), and is typically led by a Lieutenant.
A Company consists of ten Platoons (1,000 men), led under a Captain.
A Battalion consists of ten Companies (10,000), led by a Colonel/Podpolkovnik.
A Brigade is ten Battalions (100,000), typically under a Brigadier General/Polkovnik.
Divisions are 500,000 strong, led typically by a Major General.
Nag Ehgoeg maintains two Corps – Alpha and Number One – (made of three divisions each) under the two most senior Lieutenant Generals.

Nagian soldiers are well trained, and the government tries to equip them as best as they can afford. The AK 47 served as standard issue until 850 006 M3 when it was replaced by the Steyr AUG. While Nagian soldiers are impeccably drilled, they will typically not follow suicidal orders unless it is in defence of their home, but Nagian commanders tend to be hesitant about giving orders they themselves wouldn’t follow. Desertions in the Nagian Army are almost unheard of – there is more honour among the grunts in surrendering than running.

Unlike in most militaries, education is highly prized and the civilians of Nag Ehgoeg are far more likely to respect a man with a Doctorate than a man who commands thousands of men. For this reason, Nagian Officers (of all military branches) tend to prefix their rank with civilian qualifications they have – leading to a large number of “Dr-Generals” and the like.

Due to the superior level of training Nagian soldiers receive, members of the Nagian army are roughly 50% more effective than “average” troops.

Militia

Nag Ehgoeg commissions a privately owned militia, run by the Nagian Gun Organisation (NGO). The NGO is similar to a cross between the American NRA and the British TA. Private Citizens are trained in weapon usage, belonging to a "club" of sorts and can be paid into military service. Due to a hang over from it's founding days, Nag Ehgoeg requires all citizens to undergo a years military service. In the past this was "got around" with the introduction of military schools, now membership in the Militia is increasingly common.

Numbers: 1 Million (~0.011%) fully trained militia members of service age, willing to go to war for the wages Nag Ehgoeg pays at any given time, (and can be equipped with weapons).
Primary arms: Intratec TEC-9 ("pistol"/SMG) and either a Saiga-12 (pump action shogun) or AK 47 (assault rifle)
Support Arms: Whatever the hell the citizen owns, likely knifes.
Other Gear: Coming soon.

The militia is cannon fodder, plain and simple. They know they are the last resort, and that if they’re deployed they’re not likely to survive against professional soldiers. Fortunately, as they are a last resort, plenty of people sign up knowing they’ll get to handle automatic weapons legally with almost no chance of ever being deployed in real combat. When the militia is deployed, it’s members are nearly always given perception altering drugs to assure loyalty – turning average Joes into die hard (though inept) fighting machines.

The Militia has no standard deployment, as fighting units are arranged by the NGO on a local level. Typically they are deployed in mob squads of around 50 designed to slow down more apt foes.

Militia members are roughly half as effective as normal soldiers.

Special Forces

Men: 1 Million (~0.011%)
Primary arms: Steyr AUG with under-slung grenade launcher, Silenced Walther PPK (pocket pistol), NR-40 Knife, Grenades and Semtex.
Support Arms, replacing AUG (1:5): Weatherby Mark V Rifle; Benelli M3 Super 90 (shotgun); Nagian SS-SA Missile Launcher; FN P90 and Freedom Arms Casull (Revolver).
Other Gear: Coming soon.

Units

Special Forces squads tend to be hand picked units, and thus don't have a "standard" structure. In the event that they are mass deployed, it is likely to be in units of 8 with the Corporal carrying the P90 and the Sergeant carrying the Benelli.

The Special Forces are the best of the Nagian Army. They are specially trained by the Nagian Intelligence Agencies in Black Ops and surgical military insertions. In a straight fight, the hardened combat specialists of other nations could probably make mincemeat of the NSF – but fortunately, that has yet to happen. The NSF excels at fighting in close quarters, such as in cities or jungle terrain – but in the open their weaponry tends to be too short ranged to be effective.

Nag Ehgoeg tends to promote its Special Forces are wearing fully enclosed black armour. This is a fallacy, while the Special Forces armour can be fully enclosed (to protect from chemical weapons) with minor adaptations the standard deployment is not with fully enclosed armour. Furthermore, while the Special Forces black is displayed as standard to the international community, there are three different colour schemes of camouflage for desert, urban, vegetative and night time environments.

Almost every member of the NSF tend to have enough degree of medical training to serve as field medics, and they are more than capable of fighting as individuals.

Members of the NSF are highly disciplined, but when captured often surprise their captors when put under questioning. Members of the NSF are trained to resist torture by revealing information that does not endanger future missions, and spreading misinformation when under duress. “Need to know basis” is one of the most heard phrases in the NSF, and its members have even been brainwashed into believing false information when it seems likely that they would be captured.

The eight man squad of Special Forces is known as a Lance. Squads numbering between 3 and 13 are known as Spears.
3 Lances (or between 2 and 5 Spears) are known as a Trident.
7 Tridents form an Atlatl
Larger groups are designated by the number of Atlatls in the group – 3 Atlatls would be known as an A-3. These are known as Alliances.

Nagian Special Forces are roughly twice as effective as average soldiers.

Special Forces Alliances of Note

Name: The Brotherhood
Size: A-50
Notes: The Brotherhood are widely held as being among the finest of the Special Forces, and fought in the front lines at Texarado. It is rumoured that The Brotherhood receives superior equipment than it’s fellow Special Forces.
What is known as solid fact, is that the Brotherhood enjoyed the favour of being named by Archimedes Malfisto as the finest fighting force on the face of the Earth, which led to them being held in high esteem by the Elected Regent Andreas. Upon Andreas’s conversion to Christianity, however, the Alliance fell out of favour with Archimedes as many members of the Brotherhood became founding members of the Enclave.
Since the death of Andreas, the Brotherhood is at something of a decline. Many feel somewhat at odds with the Enclave for “stealing” their troops, while others in the Brotherhood view their Inquisitorial allies as good friends. And they no longer enjoy patronage from Andreas or Archimedes.

Name: The Skull Breakers
Size: A-50
Notes: The Skull Breakers have recently distinguished themselves among their peers, and earned the title of being Archimedes’ personal defence force, by violently suppressing Parliamentarian rebels in the Capital during the start of the Great Nagian Civil War on 967 006 M3. Made up in part of anti-Catholic discontents from The Brotherhood, the Skull Breakers are an especially disciplined unit.

Name: Amenti Fifth
Size: A-30
Notes: The Amenti Fifth are an elite paratrooper unit. They would be almost beneath notice – excellent troops, but no more excellent than the rest of the Special Forces – had it not been for the fact that, unlike the vast majority of the Special Forces, they sided with the Parliamentarians during the Civil War.
