As soon as word reached Emperor Nero of Samuel's arrival in Rome, he had him arrested and in 64 AD Saint's Peter, Paul and Samuel were blamed for the great fire of Rome and crucified.

Saint Samuel was a Christian missionary who is said to have bought Christianity to St Samuel.

History
