The Battle
First Wave
Flbes Junelski and Dmlov Tutov's armies attacked, launching an attack on the hill on the front and left flank of it. Instantly the Orthodox troops knew that this was not going to be easy. Protestant troops came out of well entrenched positions firing their weapons, before ducking down again to reload. Also unlike their protestant counterparts, they had to climb uphill, and had to fire at them up hill as well, thus decreasing accuracy. However their protestant enemies had problems of their own too. They lacked the ammuniation and wanted every single shot to count, therefore were only ordered to fire if they could see a clear face of the enemy. However, by 0820 hrs, after repeated hail of downhill and effective gun fire from the protestants, the Orthodox troops were unable to break through the lines of defenses, and fell back to their positions.
