The Unity Conferences were a sequence of political and cultural meetings between all the Tarutaru nations of the world for beneficial security and increased political and economic integrations. The Unity Conferences were called to make agreements to combine the authority of the Tarutaru Union into something more solid and effective. Much of the ideas behind the Tarutaru Union were similar to the European Union.

Unity Monetary Conference

The Montary Conference was to set a standard currency used throughout the Tarutaru Union thus managing the entire Tarutaru Union's finance in a single unitary currency. The Komas, Xheng's and Tamanawis' were going to be eliminated and replaced by the Tarut, the ancient currency form used in the Xheng Empire. In later Monetary Conferences that would follow, the Tarut was adapted and embraced by all of the nations in the Tarutaru Union. At first some local communities attempted to resist it but eventually fell into line.

The Tarut entered use at the beginning of this year and has since prospered even despite the fluctuating exchange rates and economies of the independent states. The Tarutaru Union used the Directorate of Economic Sanctions and Fiscal Responsibiltiies to maintain the control it needed to syncronize the economies of the member states.

Unity Defense Agreement Conference

Unifying the defensive capabilities of all Protectorates, Principalities and Nations under the Tarutaru Union were bound to a collective defensive agreement that gave considerable military authority to the Directorate of Military Affairs. The local defenses were still upkept by national bodies, but all of their entire military budget was bound to be contributed to the Tarutaru Union's collective military defense forces. This was more of the controversial cessions of the Unity Conferences which took over six months of constant bargaining and negociations to happen. The loss of military independence to many nations represented the loss of sovereignty.

The result was dozens of billions of Taruts being amassed into the Tarutaru Union's military forces. The result was a great international fear that this would be funneled towards huge armies of Cardians and robotic soldiers that would make the Tarutaru rulers of the entire planet. However to shock the world, the Tarutaru Union announced the dismantling of all military Cardian models subsequently after the signing of the Unity Defense Agreements. Due to recent events the Tarutaru Union has reversed this policy, instead have devoted huge resources to mass construction of Cardian Guards.

Unity Enviornmental Conservation Conference

The Enviornmental Conference was called when a large portion of the Tarutaru Member states became vulnerable to the process of Uranium extraction. For centuries the Tarutaru themselves have been greately concerned with nature, and only recently had economic and defense issues taken precedent over the issues of the Enviornment. With the linking of Defense and the Economy the Enviornment was an issue that could be tackled. The Tarutaru states used minimal fossil fuels in their living making them already world leaders in preservation. There are more national parks per capital than any other nation in the world.

The Unity Enviornmental Conservation Conference also increased the construction speed and initiatives of hydroelectric dams, huge fields of wind power generators, solar collectors and even the prospect of cold fusion was investigated. The Unity Enviornmental Conservation Conference also featured more than 200 observers from other nations around the world.

Unity International Resolution Conference

The International Resolution Conference was called to evaluate the status of the Tarutaru Union in the eyes of the International Community. The results were not particular pleasing as many states saw the Tarutaru Union as a potential threat. However after the announcement of decomissioning military Cardians the situation calmed to more reasonable levels. The Conference also established the Tarutaru Union as an international body fully recognized by other nation states however this did not intrude on the international recognitions of its own member states as well. Those states were still nations and sovereign ones.

Unity International Organization of Principalities Resolution Conference

The UIOPRC was called to resolve the territorial claims of the Principalities of the Tarutaru Union. Under the decrees of the Xheng Empire, the Principalities of Li-Xheng, Han-Xheng, Ming-Xheng, Sui-Xheng, Tang-Xheng, Qin-Xheng, Shang-Xheng, Xia-Xheng and Wong-Xheng were given large amounts of territory that were too difficult to control because they were too large. The Unity Conferences addressed this problem by stating and reforming the system of Principality Governments. The Xheng Empire lobbied with the help of Zionaren to reduce largely the territory of the Principalities to tiny lands. The Princes of the regions would be given nearly exclusive political control over their newly reduced size and exclusive tax rights, in reply the former domains would be relinquished to the Xheng Empire or Zionaren rule.
