Mich-Inzl / Mie-Inzl

There are three types of toll expressways on Mich-Inzl/Mie-Inzl:

  • Main provincial highways connect the major cities of one, two or three provinces. Instead of numbers, they have a letter indicating the province.
  • Main cross-connections connect major cities of neighboring provinces. Instead of numbers, they have two-letter codes indicating the region or the endpoints (in most cases two consonants).
  • Secondary cross-connections often pass mountains to provide further connections between provinces. Instead of numbers, they have two-letter codes indicating the mountains they pass through or the rivers they pass by (usually one syllable).

There are 17 toll expressways on the island:

  • BP goes from Berea in the north to Poatl in the south
  • HE runs through the Hekl Mountains, connecting Riftal with Kant
  • I runs in west-east direction through Itupt
  • KH goes from Kuach in the south-west to Hempik in the north-east
  • L goes from Loreka in the south-west to Putal in the north-east
  • LI runs through the Lipreiz Mountains, connecting Itupt with Muituan
  • NB is the north-west cross-connection, running from Stoipn in the north to Pekai in the south
  • NZ is the north-south cross-connection through the whole island, from Tobina to Tiepl
  • ÒK is the east coast cross-connection, from Panta/ in the north to Lamuch in the south
  • P runs in west-east direction through Palempl
  • PK goes from Peitrak/Pfeetlak in the north to Kenza in the south
  • R runs in north-south direction through Riftal
  • T runs through Oipach and Poapik all the way to Tenkaz
  • U runs in west-east direction through Honkoa, Uaza and Muituan
  • YO runs along the Yok River in Kant
  • Z runs in west-east direction through Zentai and Kant
  • ZB is the south-west cross-connection, running from Toneezn in the north to Kuach in the south, including Maatn

The toll expressways have red markers indicating both the letter code of the highway (in the Poirih alphabet) and the direction:

All highways have (additional) provincial numbers. The green signs feature the number, the two-letter code of the province (Poirih alphabet), and the local name of the province (Latin alphabet):
