The flag of the Democratic Republic of Patricania

The flag of the Democratic Republic of Patricania is identical to flag of the former Free State of Patriconia. The flag features three equal vertical bars. The hoist bar iss red, the center bar blue, and the fly bar white. These colors were inspired by both the flag of the United States, and the French tricolor. On the center blue bar, there is a fasces to symbolize the supreme authority of the common people in a democracy, and, below the fasces, there is the word LIBERTY in large white letters to represent the importance of the idea of liberty in the republic.
