Prime Ministers of Desh
The Prime Minister of Desh is the head of government (besides the Emperor/King).The office was created in 1947 after constitutional reforms,replacing the Chief Minister of Desh .Since 1980 the prime minister has greater political powers then the Emperor,after the constitutional reforms of 1977-1979.He ,however,stil remains chosen by the king,albeit from candidates proposed by the National asembly.Until July 1th 2007,no member of the royal family could officialy be the Prime Minister (see 2007 Desh Prime Minister nomination law controversy ).No incumbent has ever come from the common folk, but has always been a noble,at least made one after his first term,since 1961 from the new nobility.Until now,only one Prime Minister, Basileos Min Daun Dra of Hwan-Hwan has served a single term only. The curent prime minister,Baron Jinquarai Komel e'l Subashir , is in his 9th term of office.
