Rhygyfarch
Rhygyfarch (Rhygyfarch ap Cunedda), born 24 October 912, is considered first High King of the Resurgent Dream and the first King of Shieldcrest, although the two titles did not exist in their modern form during Rhygyfarch's lifetime. It was Rhygyfarch who led a band of Welshmen dissatisfied with English domination of Britain and seeking to have a place to call their own again. The valiant explorers spent years out at sea before finally finding the island of Dana. They called their first settlement Narich and most historians believe that, during his lifetime, Rhygyfarch was styled King of Narich. Subsequent generations began spreading out, multuplying, and settling more land and new towns. Hearing of their sucess, more Welsh settlers came by ship until the early settlement of Narich grew into what is now Shieldcrest.
