Personal History

Paul Gardner is a difficult man to understand, (a large sum of his life is hidden in mystery by the Office of Information) but he did a lot with it.

Paul Gardner was born to a wealthy family in the Akaia Republic who owned the MINDBIRTH Corporation which promoted the birth of the Digital Revolution within the defunct-republic. Paul would grow up in the lap of privilage, he went to the best schools, had the right connections, did all the right things and when his father died Paul became the CEO of the largest Corporation in Akaia.

Then, in the year 2035 the Akaia Government request that (in secret) the MINDBIRTH Corporation explore the avenue of augmenting humans with machine parts for military use. That years experiments led to the birth of the Posthumans, the aging Paul Gardner saw the success of what the scientist called "Upgrade" and when he was Upgraded the CEO saw the truth of his evolution, that the Posthumans were the next stage in human development (i.e. Controlled Evolution) and that all humans must be Upgraded. To this end Paul launched the Posthuman Revolution and within a matter of months every single human within the Akaia Republic was Upgraded or dead.

The CEO declared himself the World Controller of a new nation, the One World Nation, which seeks to unite all the world under a single banner and under a single race, the Posthumans. Paul ruled the One World Nation for over 22 years until a freak accident claimed his life.

His daughter Sarah has now taken upon herself the mantle of the One World Nation.
