President of the United States of Mars
The President of the United States of Mars is the Chief Executive of the country, being Head of State and of Government. The President is also the Commander-In-Chief of the Military and Space Fleet. There have been 9 President's in the United States of Mars since it's independence in 2045. The current President is Jay Daniels.
History
The role of President was central to the United States of Mars' Constitution, which written to get the most out of several Earth governments. The role is heavily advised and helped by a Cabinet who assist in the making of decisions.
Johnanthan Graham
Although not officially a President, Graham was the Chairman of the Provisional Martian Council which was founded after the country's independence to govern the new nation. Graham was a central figure in the writing of the nation's Constitution and has been called one of the Founders of the nation. Graham became Vice President to President Howard after her victory later that year.
