Atlantic Territories

The Atlantic Territories is a region of the Resurgent Dream consisting of the eight island principalities in the Atlantic Ocrean which are not part of Mists. The Atlantic Territories have no greater cultural affinity to one another than they do to the rest of the Resurgent Dream and are largely grouped together simply because they cannot easily be classified as belonging to any other regions of the Resurgent Dream. Because they are spread out over the Atlantic Ocean and because they are connected to one another and the rest of the country through trade routes which must be protected, the Atlantic Territories require far greater defense expenditures than any other part of the Resurgent Dream.
