The Premieral Line of Succession defines who will become or act as Premier of Weinersteinston upon the incapacity, death, resignation, or removal from office (by impeachment and subsequent conviction) of a sitting Premier or a Premier-elect, or a Sub-Premier or a Sub-Premier-elect.

Current Order

  1. Ian Grant, Sub-Premier
  2. Alan Batx, Speaker of the Congress
  3. Malcolm Ilisäh, Minister of State
  4. Donöld Rëise, Minister of Defense
  5. Natalie Arkis, Governor of Heisarx
  6. Istëta Nëtzalia, Governor of Peniguia
  7. Anbert Thonis, Governor of Splusston
  8. Pasasto Johnson, Mayor of Weinston City
  9. Jamie Pëm, Minister of the Treasury
  10. Rübert Yazâ, Minister of Labour and Human Services
  11. Vladmir Kushin, Minister of Transportation
  12. Dâtz Shühnâh, Minister of Energy

Oddities of the order

The order of succession starts out normal, but numbers 5 through 8 are odd to foreigners. Before the Weinston Expansions into Peniguia and Splussia, number 5 was Jamie Pëm, down the line from there, and last was Pasasto Johnson. With the new republic system, Congress passed an act that added the Governors in at 5 to 7 and pushed Johnson up to 8. The reasoning was the Governors would have more experience of running a large amount of land than the Ministers from Pëm down. The moving up of the Mayor of Weinston City is the oddest thing to do with the act. Congress said the Mayor would be more used to running an area of land than one of the Ministers would.
