Background

Function

The OCC exists as a means of offering like-minded but undermanned nations with trained professionals to augment militaries. The OCC functions as both a distribution center, bank, and headquarters for nodal facilities, which serve as training grounds for the hundreds of thousands of civilian contractors that pass through it every day. Prices are not set, as the system is set up so that the widely varied units in the OCC bid on contracts. The bidding lasts no longer than two weeks. If a contract is not taken by the end of two weeks, it is taken down.

Location

The central OCC facility is located in uptown Freeport, and is a four-acre compound, comprised of a shooting range, tactical simulators, several gyms, temporary quarters, a refectionary, and a six-hundred-meter track circling the rim of the compound. There is a central atrium, with small gardens.
