The Department for Education, Science and Technology is the Ganchelkean Government Department with responsibility for schooling. The Department is charged with running the public educational system and with the supervision of agreements and authorisations for private teaching organizations. It also provides funding for research projects and institutions, promotes scientific research and technological improvements and regulates general educational policy.
