The Free Land of Discoraversalism is a massive, safe, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 1.495 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy business types tend to view the nation with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Defence receiving almost no funds by comparison. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Children are raised bilingual from an early age, people are now classified as male, female, or genderqueer, Max Barry is this year's Miss Discoraversalism, and artists are pillars of society. Crime is totally unknown. Discoraversalism's national past time is the tit for tat, widespread deforestation is fought by vigourous genetic planting projects, and its currency is hours slaved to the machine.
