The Region of Americana
Americana is a region that accepts all peoples, from Democrats to Republicans, Conservatives to Liberals, Capitalists to Socialists, and Libertarians to Populists. Its Government system is very much like the United States.
Americana Constitution
The Americana Constitution was adopted on July 28th, 2006. It was signed by the six Founding Fathers; Cypriceos, Mac Programmers, Mongero, Montegava, Sajlamot, and Swiss Army. It officially took effect the following day, and it has been in effect since then.
Americana Government
Americana's Government system is very much like the United States' Government System. Americana is a Democratic Republic, and its officials are elected every two months, on the 25th.
The next elections are to be on November 25th, 2006.

Americana Political Parties
The Political Party system was first introduced to Americana on August 18th, the date of Swiss Army's return from vacation. The Conservative Party, which was founded by Swiss Army, was the first party to be organized.
The Conservative Party stands for a high and effective Defense throughout the entire region and her allies. In NationStates, it supports the options of pro-Economy, pro-Defense, and anti-tax raises. Party Founder: Swiss Army
The Moderate Party stands for Activity over high numbers, a Moderate-sized Government, and Foreign Affairs. Party Founder: Mac Programmers*
The Liberal Party stands for Civil Rights and individual freedom, as well as a Moderate-sized Government and balanced foreign policies. Party Founder: Be Your Own Plant
*Mac Programmers left the Moderate Party on September 5th for the Liberal Party.
