Humanites

Humanites are a race of clones, originally mindless slaves created by the technology of the human inhabitants of Sothfar to colonize Eden-IV. Humanites are extremly resistant to environmental factors that would be absolutely lethal to a human and thus were used to terraform the planet's irradiated slagheaps into a vivid green paradise.

Other appearances In Dragons Of Metropolis, the Humanites were the species the upper class belonged to: Infertile, but far superior humans that were created by genetic engineering and replicated via cloning technology since at ome point, the upper class found their human form unfitting and imperfect and thus turned to genetic technology to relieve this state. Unlike the Humanites of Eden-IV, these humanites were fully conscious and not servants, but masters of the ordinary humans.
