Department of Justice

The Department of Justice is one of the seven departments of the Confederal Government, headed by a member of the Confederal Council. The Department's portfolio is actually somewhat more expansive than the name would indicate and also includes responsibility for immigration, naturalization, passport and border control and other issues typically handled by a home office in addition to responsibility for law enforcement at the Confederal level, legally representing the Confederal Government in the courts, providing legal advice to the Confederal Council and overseeing corrections.
