Judge Abijam I. the Merry (b.1843,d.1916) ,born Karbai al-Sadla,was a prominent noble of the Desh court and thus became a co-Judge of the State of Solomon upon it's foundation in 1901 and its Judge in 1913 (reigned 1913-1916) ,following the suicide of his predecessor Judge Jeroboam I. the Wealthy .

He was a close suported of the independant politics of the first Judge,Judge Solomon I. the Wise. After future Judge Jeroboam I. machinated the deposition of Solomon,Karbai became his sworn enemy.

He openly oposed the Law of the Line (see Judge Jeroboam I. the Wealthy ) and so was in-permanently suspended from the ruling court until late 1912.In 1913 his predecessor comited suicide, yet critics suspected Karbai of the move.Nevertheless,he was elected Judge adn took the name Abijam I. and the préfix "the Merry".He imediately abolished the Laws of the line and freed everyone imprisoned in acordance with their litera. His main work consisted of constant fights with Desh to secure greater independance, going as far as opening a diplomatic consulate in Gogowow in 1915,and the abolishment of the extremeties and theocratical eccentricies of his predecessor (renamed "Holly Guards" to "Judicial forces",restored a secular state and openly advocated the full-separation of church,"law" and state and the return from exile of Judge Solomon)

He died of natural reasons in 1916 and was succeeded by his own close suporter Judge Rehoboam I. the Virtuous .
