Sariais

Sariais is a small island protectorate off the southern coast of Crisconium. It was conquered by Crisconium in 1526, but has been restored to an independent government. This government is democratically-elected, a result of the island's past. It is a member of the United Nations, and while it is not sovereign, it is independent. It often serves as Crisconium's unofficial link to the UN.
