Hughes

Hughes is a conglomerate with enterprises in diverse fields, but focusing mainly on aviation. The company, based in Hollywood, was taken over by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries following the Japanese invasion of the United States in the late 40's. Hollywood was one of the first of the US states to fall to the Japanese. Technology from the company's headquarters were shipped to Japan and propably where integrated in the construction of Mitsubishi's later A6M models. The company is, together with Supermarine, one of the largest subsidiaries of Mitsubishi. It's largest adversary is the Messerschmitt/General Motors consortium and their partnership with Bell.
