Portugal is one of the oldest user-created regions in the NationStates World. Although it was once populated by more than 200 nations, recent conflicts and ruptures have brought that number to circa 150.

This interesting region hosts many of the most charismatic figures in the NationStates world. Of these, the most obvious and characteristic is Azorya. Having already been Regional Delegate for more than three times, Azorya assumes, definitely, an historical landmark position in the quiet and beautiful Portuguese region.
