Commerce

The Commercial structure of the Xheng Dynasty is quite complex with a number of Government owned corporations and Dynastic Companies that have dominance over their capitalist market. For a Monarchy, the Arch-Imperium is extremely socialist which is shown by icons like the Red and Yellow Star.

The construction of the Xheng-Class Worldships was a breakthrough for manufacturing of large scale vessels and construction projects. The technology required to create such huge vessels was put to later use when the construction of cities took priority. At an astounding rate cities throughout the Arch-Imperium's territory were springing up with fully functional facilities. Hydroelectric, solar and wind power were used to make the entire region enviornmentally friendly. Geothermal energy sometimes was also exploited to be used for heat generation. The need for energy sources allowed the enviornment to be targetted but the government was adamant that the enviornment was a definate issue that could not be disputed. As a result the Arch-Imperium has some of the most strict laws regarding enviornmental protection.

Cities made of steel and glass seem to be the more popular but also other construction materials like concrete and wood and even bamboo are common place. A mixture of their ancient curved roof architecture and compacted earth may still be seen in the building of traditional gardens and temples. For the most part modern grey and glass structures are more common. To allow for beauty, asthetic appeal is of pivotal importance. Gardens and plantlife of various colour variations are highly favored.

The Xheng Dynasty itself owns many large corporations which are highly profitable. These companies are not under the jurisdiction of the government executive, rather under the royal family of the Xheng Dynasty.

Dynastic International

Dynastic International is a megacorporation that is under the authority of the Xheng Family. They used their financial connections and rich treasures of the nation to create a massive construction company. DConstruction of large oceanic workprojects such as the Xheng-Class and Dynastic-Class Worldships as well as the artificial floating cities. Dynastic International features the largest shipyards ever built. Amongst the vessels constructed at these shipyards are military-grade vessels like nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and enormous submarines. Since the shipyards have to be large enough to accomodate Worldships it is to little surprise that they can also be used to refit and restock entire fleets of cruiseships. Their smaller division companies include Dynastic Fleet Works, Euro-Tower Incorporated, Dynastic Aero Works and Dynastic Mariculture.

Dynastic International has branched into many large scale companies funneling huge profits directly into the Xheng Dynastic Family. The Xheng Royal Family's since has contributed much to the Imperial Stategem's governing structure and charities as well as research institutions furthering the technological advances of the nation.

Due to the Government's influence on the companies, the Xheng Family owns 51% of all shares in the company, in addition the Imperial Stratagem holds another 29% shares earning significant income for the government in the methods of sales and product that Dynastic International offers abroad as well as domestically.

Dynastic Construction Inc

The largest division of Dynastic International responsible fo the construction of the large floating cities as well as shipyards for the Dynastic-Worldships and the lesser seen Xheng-Class Worldships. Dynastic Construction Inc. is the largest manufacturer of offshore platforms in the region.

Dynastic Shipworks

The smaller shipyard facilities managed for the ships of the smaller Imperial Cruise Lines. Dynastic Shipworks does ship maintenance for all of the vessels in Dynastic Oceanic Lines and Dynastic Cruise Lines. The only ships not managed by Dynastic Shipworks

Dynastic MotorDrive

What goes inside cars, boats, ships, airplanes, helicopters and trains are always at the hands of Dynastic MotorDrive. Heavy Mechanics is the specilality of this division of Dynastic International. Motor parts and all vehicle construction parts are under this divison which is second largest after Dynastic Construction Inc.

Dynastic Oceanic Lines

The main marketting line for the massive Dynastic-Class Worldships. Dynastic Oceanic Lines has to support the large Dynastic-Class Worldships, all 6 of them. Dynastic Oceanic Lines also handles the functions of private islands purchased by the company to handle resorts. These resorts may be shared with Dynastic Cruise Lines.

Dynastic Cruise Lines

The 6 classes of ships, Xia, Zhou, Shang, Qin, Han and Sui class ships are handled by the large Dynastic Cruise Lines Company. In addition the company also handles marketting and promitions, human resources and management of all the six classes of ships.

Dynastic AeroWorks (DAW)

The air flight wing of Dynastic International. Purchasing designs from Qairbus, Dynastic AeroWorks began to be the primary airflight producer for nearly all of the flight vehicles in the entire Arch-Imperium. To their benefit Dynastic AeroWorks slowly began to expand its market to many other nations, much as its sister companies, Dynastic Fleet Works and Dynastic International.

Dynastic Mariculture

The resource gathering wing of Dynastic International is the division responsible for aquaculture and mariculture, underwater geothermal energy harvesting, as well as cultivation of marine life for food. Dynastic Mariculture processes more than 10,000 tonnes of food in a single week. This is more than enough for feeding a massive population. Utilizing latest cloning techniques and growth of plantlife and livestock in their enormous harvesting stations, Dynastic Mariculture is on the cutting edge of food producing technology.

Dynastic AgriWorks

Land based farming is the responsibility of Dynastic AgriWorks. From vast rice paddies to horticulture and wheat farms, Dynastic AgriWorks is diverse in everyfield of agriculture. Cloning and Genetically modified foods as well as natural organic markets are both exposed for Dynastic AgriWorks' production.

Dynastic FleetWorks (DFW)

The smaller scale version of Dynastic International which services smaller civilian vessels. It produces many ships from speed boats, to luxury yachts to even the largest cruise liners. Worldships are not cruise liners as their sheer size dwarfs any ship built. Dynastic Fleet Works now also diversifies into smaller civilian craft as well as standard cruise ships for various cruise lines operating throughout the region. Dynastic Fleet Works is known for the moderate sized Jade-Class Cruise ships and Sapphire-Class Ocean Liners.

Dynastic Transport and Freight

Specialized Transportation such as public transportation, mass transit systems and freight are the specialized systems under Dynastic Transport and Freight. It is a very diverse division as it handles air, land, rail, and sea travel. Dynastic Transport and Freight handle a fleet of merchant vessels as well as trains for mass transport of goods.

Imperial Networks

A larger corporate division that was recently granted some automony from Dynastic International. The strange aspect about Dynastic International is that one division can in fact buy out another division as the free market wills.

Imperial Telecom (IT-Com)

Imperial Telecom is under the branch Imperial Networks that handles Domestic and International Communications technologies as well as other High-Tech firms. Imperial Telecom is massive and focuses on every aspect of High-Tech industry from microchip development for computer systems, broadband communications networks, cellular phone services, to satellite launching.

Imperial Telecom is the local mega company that oversees massive media power throughout the Arch-Imperium. It is vitally linked to the Imperial Stratagem as well as the Xheng Royal Family itself. Imperial Telecom is connected to every form of information and communications throughout the Arch-Imperium to no acception. Imperial Telecom is three way split in its holdings, unlike other divisions of megacompanies. Imperial Telecom's shares are 34% within Xheng Family holdings, 33% Imperial Stratagem holdings and 33% public holdings. Imperial Telecom recently managed to secure a lucrative deal to be the single information network handling all broadcasts on and from the Dynastic-Class worldships.

Imperial Forestry Conglomerate

Lumber acquisition and forest planting is the duty of the IFC.

Imperial Dynastic Minerals (IDM)

Mineral research and development section of Dynastic International. One of the more controversial minerals that IDM does refinement of, is Uranium for nuclear power and potentially nuclear weaponry. However the Imperial Strategem has made it adamantly clear (and with opening of records) that IDM does not sell enriched Uranium for weapons manufacturing. Experiments in Nuclear Fusion have been promissing in hopes that they would allow

Euro-Tower Inc.

An international conglomerate of investors who pitched together their massive fortunes (or at least portions of their fortunes) to construct the world's tallest structure. Utilizing much of the construction techniques of Dynastic International, the goal was to build a tower that was nearly a mile tall. Euro-Tower is one of the largest international construction cooperative efforts for the year and it is chaired by many high ranking officials of many international companies as well as government officials to assure that funding is assured and maintained. Due to the massive influx of companies involved, Euro-Tower Inc. is also under enormous crutiny for effective spending.

PetroEnerGen

Where there is oil, there is always a market. PetroEnerGen is one of the best funded portion of Dynastic International in comparison to its size. Rich underwater and underground petroleum reserves throughout the Arch-Imperium are holding potential for PetroEnerGen to become a formidable player in the region's oil economy. In addition, PetroEnerGen heavily relies on more cleaner methods of energy production such as solar production, wind turbine farms and natural gas.

PetroEnerGen has recently attempted experimentation with Cold Fusion but those have yet to bear actual product to be usable for the market. PetroEnerGen acquired vast holdings on a near monopoly level on the production of Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Natural Gas hybrid automobile and aircraft technology. PetroEnerGen since has pattented this technology within the Arch-Imperium. This monopoly has guarenteed PetroEnergy's dominance in the massive population market of the Arch-Imperium itself.

PetroEnerGen itself has interests in offshore natural gas reserves that could be lucrative however the nation of Azores has yet to grant any drilling rights in that area since the reserves are well within Azore's national waters. PetroEnerGen is always interested in more offshore drilling but in addition it is also a construction company for masses of wind turbines for high altitude and offshore generation. Most of these turbines exist on massive artificial islands, designed to take advantage of constant winds that exist in open waters. The largest assembly of offshore wind turbines is currently directly off from Xi'an itself.

In addition to Wind and Petroleum, Natural Gas and Coal power plants, PetroEnerGen also focuses on solar energy which is widely used on the Dynastic-Class Worldships and other large buildings to improve efficiency for their energy supplies. Solar is one of the less common scenes as it is space accumulative and relatively expensive.
