Luís Machado is the former Rector for External Affairs of the Azorean Republic. He is currently the Chairman of the Organisation for a Nationalist Europe.

A formidable diplomat, he graduated in International Relations from the University of Mercoburg. With a Masters degree in International Trade and a doctorate in Military History, both from the University of Strathclyde (Capitollium), he quickly rose through the PNR ranks, becoming an extremely influential figure in Azorean politics.

Currently, he lives in Salieri, due to his profession. He is married and has two daughters. He features a weekly column in the newspaper Açoriano Oriental.
