For one reason or another, women in Krytenian football are rare. Only three currently play in the KLF Overleague, and Castro is the only one currently in the national squad (Samantha O'Brien remains uncapped). Castro reminds many fans of Michael Lewison in his prime. Her fondest memory? Lifting the KFA Cup for Aigburth.
