Alliance City

The city of Alliance in the nation of Guffingford is a nation without any significant economic or political value, but the social value vastly exceeds any and other one might think of. The city Alliance or Alliansie in Hoogs was the stage of various treaties signed between rebel and guerrilla factions at the end of the nineteenth century after many long years of social unrest and disturbances. In 1883, the Territorial Treaty was signed and ratified the same month, and secured the borders between Freestate Cerfonlande and Freestate Gooshen after various civil wars raging and ravaging the countryside.

Despite of all the diplomatic success and consessions made by the parties who signed the treaty, the Territorial Treaty did not solve the enduring troubles between the British and the Dutch of Freestate Oos Seeland, who were still disputing the cities of Diepryck and New Seeville. These disputes were solved in 1910, when the Territorial Treaty was nullified and the Freestate Sovereignity Treaty was enacted and ratified by the same people who made the Territorial Treaty.
