The language Hoogs is, without a doubt, a direct result of Dutch colonial history in Guffingford. Following the long history of the language it did not had as much influence by foreign languages as Afrikaans has, but some things have been changed. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare.
