Ötan

Ötan is one of the three national languages of Old Anatania. When the language was developed it was a close relative of English but over the years it has slowly became a totaly different language.

Conjugations

The infinitive will always end in "to" ex. to talk- klatto. Then to conjugate them you drop the "to" and add one of the following engings.

• Present Tense: "as"-klatas
• Past Tense: "is"-klatis
• Future Tense: "os"-klatos
• Command Form: "i"-klati
• Conditional Form: "us"-klatus---(would, as in "I would talk")
  • To say "should talk": "ux"-klatux
  • To say "could talk": "uc"-klatuc

Infinitves are only used when one wants to say for example:

• I would like to go now. --> Ie ekielus ogto uon.

Irregular Forms:

These are special forms, the verb to be is connected to the pronoun, and only the pronoun.
