The Eastern Empire of --Byzantium-- is the current stage of the Wakesburg colony of the Holy Empire of --Byzantium-- and the independent state of the Eternal Empire. Its Emperor, Tiberios Palaeologus, is the current head of the Palaeologus branch of the Palaeologus-Wake-Riminsky Line. It is one of the dominant trading nations in Romagna Wakesburg, competeing with the Most Serene Republic of Tiberias Magna.
