.swa is the Internet TLD for the Sovereign State of West Ariddia. It is used by private citizens, companies and the government alike.
A number of West Ariddian citizens provocatively use the .ari domain, which is that of neighbouring, communist Ariddia. The main reasons for doing so are that the .ari domain is free for residents of the Ariddian Isles (whereas .swa is not), and a desire to express support for the communist nation and its policies, or for Ariddian re-unification.
The best known website using the .swa domain is probably www.google.swa (see: Goggle).

West Ariddian dependent territories’ TLDs
West Ariddia has nominal sovereignty over one dependency, the self-governing territory of Lwellsl. Although Lwellsl is technologically primitive and has no Internet access, it has registered the .lwl.swa domain with WestNet.com. The domain “.lwl” on its own is not registered by Lwellsl or West Ariddia, and remains available to other nations.
