The 10M6 "Tomsk" battlefield simulator uses specialised grenades fired from the AGS-50. The grenades are essentially single-use UAVs: a very compact sensor suite is wrapped around a radio transmitter. At the peak of their trajectory (calculated by an internal computer that reads the inertia of the grenade), the grenades create a look-down image of the surrounding area. There are usually eight of these in a seperate belt that can be switched to from the generic FAE belt.
