The Potrafer County held in 1987 re elections to the City Council. The largest question was the "town tax" and the new Federal Working Act. The elections where held on a Monday. There where 20 voting areas and each had a mandate in the council.

The results gave a massive support for the rulling Zaaherland Republican Party.

Final Results were:

  • Zaaherland Republican Party 18 (94,7%) (+3 mandats)
  • Progressive Independent Party 1 (3,2%) (-2 mandats)
  • Democratic Union Party 1 (2,1%) (-1 mandats)
