2007 Coocoostan Pro Baseball Season

The 2007 Coocoostan Pro Baseball season is the 1st since professionalism. The opening game was played May 21st, 2007, at National Stadium in Coocoobad between the Coocoobad Senators and the San Fierro Suns.

May

The last 10 days of May were the trial period of the league, with over 95% of seats sold. Most teams were competetive, with the teams with poor records losing by one run on several occasions. The CPB is said to be very happy with the distribution of franchises and does not plan any expansion or movement for next season.

June

June saw gates steady out at around 80% attendance. In the Central, Anadahl continued their stellar start, although not quite at the same pace as the beginning of the season. Coocoobad, Ulgava and San Fierro all continue to battle for the playoffs, while Starlight City has begun to trail off and Kalibad has improved slightly. In the Pacific, the Panjuhr Thunder are in a tie for first with Las Venturas, but hold a key advantage, having already won the season series with the RoughRiders 4-2. Wajax, Aubrey and Summikalad all contend, while Los Santos, one of the richest franchises in the league is the worst team in CPB and attendance is beginning to plummet.
