January
1st-3rd
- Anubinia declares its willingness to aid the Starwarsian Government in the fight against Koexi Rebels in former Old Places.
- Uudestaan’s UDF formally unveils its latest Main Battle Tank – the P-48-A1 “Marsalkka Juhani”, at a field demonstration in the south of the country.
4th-6th
- Pastocia raises high concerns about the stability of other countries across the region – these include Sheeplandia, Sargus and Deadrockall.
- Latest Democratic Regional Order of PEEL (DROOP) statistics show a remarkable rise in political and civil freedoms within The Territories of Greater Zedoljev.
7th-9th
- Nastavnik report in Zedoljev claims that there are more complaints against members of the Black Watch than any other branch of the Soviet military.
- Agent allegedly operating for the Obsidian Order is arrested in northern Uudestaan
10th-12th
- Llywelyn Fychan, Y Fenni’s most famous explorer, releases a new report chronicling the discovery of a mysterious Enigma Island – His team and Pastocian naval escorts move in to investigate.
- Pastocian statesman, Consul Nasty Pasty started the last leg of his journey around PEEL, this time staying in Y Fenni.
- Meantime, Pastocian naval experts declare that the type of submarine that attacked Llywelyn Fychan’s expedition, and was later chased off and destroyed, could have been of Anubinian origin – one of many such vessels posted as “missing” after the end of the Dominion Wars.
- The Government of Sargus collapses, leading to the collapse of order in New Telephonia at the same time.
13th-15th
- Zedoljan Premier Zvyevonyev claims that territory in Sargus be given back to the jurisdiction of San Fredlando and Zedoljev who ruled the territory before the ascension of Sargus during the Gnome Islands War, however both Nurdbotia and Pastocia advice against such moves by Zedoljev and the USTsR.
- Rubakava sends in peacekeeping forces, numbering 2,000 men, to Sargus.
- Zedoljev backs down, but still orders their own peacekeeping forces to Sargus. Zedoljev stresses that their force, twice the size of the Rubakavan forces, will cooperate fully with the wishes and goals of Rubakava and emphasised that the return of peace and order in Sargus was of utmost importance.
- Llywelyn Fychan continues investigations on Enigma, finding shocking and sickening evidence of foul experiments being carried out there prior to some strange destruction.
- A joint Pastocian/Zedoljan team starts their reconnasiance of a recently discovered village of possible Urallian descendants in the PEEL Colonial Territories.
- Consul Pasty meets with counterparts in Caerllucheden, Y Fenni to discuss greater ties between Pastocia and Y Fenni.
16th-18th
- Deadrockall’s Government urges a vote of no confidence in their leader which plunges the country into heavy turmoil.
- With turmoil in Deadrockall, Uudestaan’s Uudesii Tehdasteollisuus Konglomeraatti (UTK), a partner in the Trans-New American MagLev Project, proposes a joint buy-out of Project lead, and Deadrockallian registered company, MagLev Inc.. Many partners are concerned that the turmoil will jeopardise the safety of the project’s future and assets. Weinersteinston Transportation Services and various transportation subsidiaries of MDKCorp join with the UTK and complete the buy out.
- Uudestaan heralds a huge turn around in the fortunes of the country’s economy, ironically “better than ever” even during reconstruction following the Dominion Wars
- The Zedoljan Ministry of Transportation raises the idea of a transportation link beneath the Morbo Strait, thus linking New Europe with the rest of the region by road or rail, through Zedoljev
19th-21st
- Asseniya demonstrate brand new body armour to an amazed audience in their effective home city of Maryavostok, Zedoljev. The Government criticises the Asseniya for “operating outside their boundaries” when it becomes apparent that Asseniya leaders negotiated with Uudestaan for the use of Gemini in their latest arms and armour – without the Government’s authorisation or knowledge.
- Uudestaan enters talks with Pastocia about possible expansion for the UDF’s Navy, including Pastocian vessel designs.
22nd-24th
- Annual Budget meeting held in Vandstrabe, MDKCorp – it highlights the successful retooling of the nation’s economy after the war, noting that the accounts are “back in the black”, trade was steady despite the turmoil in the area and the massive modernisation of Ocean City Base was “both nearly complete and under budget.
- Johnathan "Jack" Davidson nominated to be Executive General of the Para-Security Forces of MDKCorp (PSF). With the appointment comes the announcement of radical reforms for the PSF.
- Officials in Burning Flame triumphantly proclaim to have “smashed” an illegal weapons black market, selling highly prized Zedoljan weapons that were intended for forces inside Burning Flame, to unauthorised or criminal third parties.
- Popular Zedoljan painter, Goram Strachenko dies aged 53 in Ziblisi, Zedoljev, of an apparent heart failure.
25th-27th
- MDKCorp launches the Carrier CMS Free Enterprise and Battleship CMS Adam Smith
- VRGate, developed by MDKCorp’s CyNautics Software, is launched
- Villiyan newspaper publishes a damaging report claiming to have proof that during the Nuclear Shipment Crisis, Zedoljev lost only two submarines, substantially less than the “serious losses” stated by the Government.
28th-31st
- Keoxi Rebels launch an attack on Theed, capital of Starwarsia. Warsian government seeks Anubinian protection.
- Weinersteinston declares its segment of the Trans-New American MagLev, and that of Splussia, is virtually finished. The country also finishes work on the Grohl/Mainland Bridge
- Terre Argente begins plans of the Argentian-Setian Colony Transportation Link
- MDKCorp moves for the election of a co-chair position inside the Free Trade Organisation (FTO)
