Ašygena

Ašygena / Asaraija is a goddess of Ēmandē, the daughter of Mēlēja and sister of Baranxi. She is often simply called the goddess of nature, although more specifically, she is associated with the forest, animals, hunting and also the moon and subsequently as the patron of women.

Names

Ašygena is Old Baranxeï for great huntress. There are a number of variations on this, such as Ašagena, Asjagena or Ašηgηnη
